Questions people ask

How fast can someone get here?

It depends on where the property is and what’s happening that day. Call and leave a message with the details, and a licensed crew will call you back to talk through timing.

How much does this cost?

There’s no honest number until someone has seen the property. Area size, what’s involved, and how long it’s been all change it. You’ll get a cost before any work begins, and nothing starts until you agree to it.

Does insurance cover it?

Often, yes — many homeowner’s and property policies may cover biohazard remediation, though it depends on your policy and what happened. Crews in this trade deal with insurers regularly and can usually help you file. Bring it up on the call.

Will the neighbors know?

Discretion is standard in this work, and unmarked vehicles are common practice. Ask when you call and you’ll be told exactly how it’s handled.

Do I have to be there?

No. Some people want to be; most don’t. Either is fine, and no one will push you.

Is it safe for me to clean it myself?

No, and please don’t. Blood and other potentially infectious material carry real health risk, ordinary household cleaners don’t neutralize it, and there are rules in Oklahoma about how biohazardous waste has to be disposed of. There’s also the part no one mentions: you can’t unsee it.

What happens to the waste?

It’s removed from the property and disposed of through a licensed disposal chain, under state and federal requirements. You’ll get documentation.

It’s a rental property. Who’s responsible?

That’s between you, the tenant’s estate, and your insurer, and it varies. What we can tell you is that a lot of these calls come from landlords and property managers, and the crew will document everything so you have what you need for the claim.

This isn’t an emergency, I’m just trying to find out about it.

That’s fine. Call, or use the form. No one will pressure you.
